Step 3 - Choose fixtures (the types and where they go)

Step 4 - Get the numbers right

Step 5 - Design control BEFORE you wire

Step 7 - Buy well
At the shop, ignore the salesperson's habits and read the pack yourself:
- Buy by lumens, not watts. Watts is the old way (how much power a bulb ate). LEDs use a fraction of the power, so lumens is the honest measure of brightness.
- Check the CRI - 80+ for general rooms, 90+ for mirrors, dressing and dining.

Step 8 - Budget it

Step 9 - Stay safe
Two safety points that are non-negotiable:
