Consultation Pricing Framework
Four-tier consultation model with a 9-factor scoring engine — auto-recommends your tier, fee range, and adjustable credit. Generates a client-ready quote PDF.
Why You Must Charge for Consultations
A paid consultation instantly separates serious clients from window shoppers. If they won't pay ₹3,000 for your time, they won't pay ₹3,00,000 for your design.
Free consultations train clients to treat your knowledge as a commodity. A fee frames you as a professional advisor, not a salesperson.
When you charge ₹10,000 for a consultation, your ₹2L design fee suddenly feels anchored and reasonable — not arbitrary.

How the Scoring Engine Works
The Pro Calculator scores 9 factors across your project and studio profile. Scores are summed to pick the right tier, then a scope multiplier and city multiplier are applied to produce the fee range.

Positioning Tips
- 1Never apologise for the fee. State it matter-of-factly: “My consultation is ₹8,000 — it covers a full site assessment and a written brief.”
- 2Always share the scope in writing before the meeting. A one-page scope document stops “but I thought you would also…” conversations.
- 3For the Advanced and Premium tiers, lead with the credit clause: “75% of this fee adjusts against your full design fee if you engage me.” It reduces resistance immediately.
- 4Collect the fee before the meeting, not after. UPI / bank transfer. A client who pays in advance shows up prepared.
- 5Use Tier 1 (Discovery Call) only for complex, high-value leads where you need a quick filter — not as a default for every inquiry.
