Lift access control

Lift Access Planner

To stop a card-holder reaching floors they shouldn't, each secured floor button is enabled by a floor relay and each car carries a reader. Enter your cars, floors and secured floors to see the relays to wire, the readers needed and the total control points. Planning figures; runs in your browser.

Keep the ground/egress floor always reachable without a card, and integrate with the fire alarm so lifts recall on fire (life-safety). That interlock is set by the lift/fire contractor, not this tool.

Planning estimate only — exact wiring depends on the lift OEM's interface (some use a serial/CAN interface board, not relays). Confirm the reader and floor-restriction scheme with the lift vendor and your integrator before you order hardware.
