Keep the ground/egress floor always reachable without a card, and integrate with the fire alarm so lifts recall on fire (life-safety). That interlock is set by the lift/fire contractor, not this tool.

Planning estimate only — exact wiring depends on the lift OEM's interface (some use a serial/CAN interface board, not relays). Confirm the reader and floor-restriction scheme with the lift vendor and your integrator before you order hardware.
