A wall- or pole-mounted camera can never see the ground right beneath it — there is always a dead zone between the base and where its view first hits the floor. To shrink the blind spot
Mount a little lower, tilt further down, or use a wider lens (bigger φ). But tilting too far down pulls the far reach in — it is a trade-off between covering the base and seeing into the distance.

Planning estimate only — this is flat-ground geometry, and the real vertical field-of-view varies by lens and sensor. Slopes, steps and obstructions all shift the dead zone. Use it to compare positions, then confirm with a live view on site.
