Using the model's data to simulate performance — energy, structure, daylight, airflow, acoustics — before the building exists. Usually needs an 'analysis-ready' version of the model (clean zones, real properties), and is only as honest as its inputs and assumptions: a comparison of options, not an exact prophecy.
