Laminate Sheet Calculator
Work out how many laminate ("sunmica") sheets a furniture job needs. Enter the total surface area to be laminated, pick the sheet size and add a wastage margin — remember a carcass is laminated inside and out, so count both faces.
Add up every face to be laminated (shutter fronts, sides, top, inner carcass). Both faces of a shutter count.
10-15% is typical; add more for patterned laminate that must be matched or many small pieces.
0.8-1 mm decorative laminate ranges widely by brand and design; adjust to your local quote.
