Materials use a 1.54 dry-volume factor; water is indicative at a ~0.5 water-cement ratio. Actual water depends on aggregate moisture, admixtures and workability.
Indicative only. Nominal mixes are a rule of thumb for small, non-critical work. Structural concrete (M25 and above, and all RCC) needs a design mix with the water-cement ratio, admixtures and reinforcement set by a licensed structural engineer to IS 456 / IS 10262 — this tool is for ordering materials, not designing your structure.
