Aggregate Quantity Calculator
Work out how much coarse aggregate (jelly / crushed stone) a concrete job needs. Enter the volume, pick the nominal mix grade, and get the indicative aggregate in cubic metres, cubic feet and tonnes.
The finished (wet / in-place) concrete volume.
Coarse aggregate is usually 20mm nominal for RCC and 10mm for thin or congested sections.
For 1 m3 of M20 (1:1.5:3) concrete.
Uses a 1.54 dry-volume factor and aggregate at ~1500 kg/m3. Aggregate is sold by the tonne or the load — allow for wastage.
Indicative only. Nominal mixes suit small, non-critical work. Structural concrete follows a design mix with the nominal aggregate size and grading specified by a licensed engineer to IS 456 / IS 383 — confirm quantities and the aggregate source with your engineer or contractor.
