Smart Room Planner

Drag furniture into a room drawn to scale and see, live, whether every piece has the access space it needs — clearances, overlaps, door swing and circulation, checked against ergonomic and NBC guidance. Runs entirely in your browser.

Clearance check

Add furniture, then drag it around — clearances update live.

Access gaps follow ergonomic and NBC guidance — e.g. ~600 mm to get past a bed, 750 mm in front of a wardrobe, ~900 mm to pull out a dining chair, and a ~1050 mm kitchen work aisle. A piece pushed flat against a wall needs no clearance on that side. Drag to plan; the check is live.

How it works

Plan to scale

Set the room size and door, pick a room type, then add furniture at real Indian dimensions. Drag each piece; it snaps to a fine grid and stays inside the walls.

Live clearance checks

Every piece carries an access gap from ergonomic and NBC guidance. The planner flags overlaps, pieces that block the door, and anything crowding another piece's access — updating as you drag.
