Pool Deck Selector

Pool Deck Flooring Selector

A pool surround is always barefoot and permanently wet — so grip is non-negotiable. Tell us your pool, sun exposure, look and how strict the grip must be, and we recommend a barefoot-safe, anti-slip (R11–R12) deck with an R-rating, an indicative ₹/sq ft band and two alternatives. We never recommend a polished surface around a pool. Tuned for Indian projects; costs are indicative (material only, +GST and laying), 2026.

Your deck, in four steps

Anti-slip is locked on: only barefoot-safe surfaces (R11–R12 / DIN 51097 class B–C) are recommended. Polished marble, polished GVT/PGVT and any mirror-polished stone are excluded around a pool.

Full sun: choose a light colour. Dark stone and dark porcelain can become too hot for bare feet by mid-afternoon.

We score barefoot-safe candidates on wet grip (the dominant axis), how cool they stay underfoot, durability and value, then apply your pool type, sun and look. Guidance, not a spec — confirm the slip rating (DIN 51130 R11–R12 and DIN 51097 barefoot class B–C), a fall to drainage, and ₹/sq ft with your contractor.

Your best-fit pool deck

Flamed / leathered granite

Recommended because it is torched to an open, grippy texture — the toughest, most reliably anti-slip natural stone for a barefoot pool surround, and cooler than polished stone.
