Vastu note
A equal double gives you a pair of leaves, and an even number of shutters or panels is traditionally considered auspicious — especially for a main entrance or pooja door, which is also held to be best in the north, east or north-east and ideally the largest door in the home. Treat this as tradition plus the practical reasoning that a generous, symmetric entry simply reads as welcoming.
