How this is worked out
Architrave (door casing) frames the door on the exposed face of the wall. Per face it runs the three sides of the opening — two jambs (the height) plus the head (the width) — mitred at the top corners; there is no trim on the floor/sill side. Choosing both faces doubles the length. We add 10% wastage for mitre cuts and offcuts, multiply by your ₹/rft rate, then add 18% GST where shown.
These figures are indicative — confirm with your carpenter/fitter on site, and measure twice before ordering. Standard sizes are used unless you enter a custom opening; site dimensions and a deeper trim profile can change the quantity. Order trim in full lengths so a single jamb has no joint.
