Door Key Schedule Builder

Door Key Schedule Builder

Group your doors by keying logic — keyed-alike, keyed-different, with optional master and sub-master keys — and get a clear schedule: cylinders, unique key codes, keys to cut and an indicative cylinder/keying cost with 18% GST. Indicative India 2026; confirm with your locksmith.

Keying groups

Keyed-alike = one key code for the whole group (handy for main + service doors). Keyed-different = a unique key per door (privacy/security). A master-key system adds one top master that opens every door; flag a group for its own sub-master to open just that group. Indicative India 2026 — confirm cylinder and keying rates with your locksmith.

Keying schedule

One row per group. Cylinders = doors; unique codes depend on keyed-alike vs keyed-different; user keys = unique codes × copies per key.

Get the keying logic right

DesignAI helps you balance security and convenience — which doors to key alike, where a master helps, and whether a restricted key profile is worth it — then drafts a clean key register.

How this is worked out

  • One keyable cylinder per door (₹850 indicative, mid-range mortise/euro-profile).
  • Keyed-alike = one key code for the whole group; keyed-different = a unique code per door.
  • User keys to cut = unique codes × your copies per key (₹120 per cut copy).
  • A master-key system adds one top master plus optional sub-masters per flagged group (₹450 per master/sub key) and a one-off charting/pinning setup of ₹1,500.
  • All costs are indicative — confirm with your locksmith/fitter on site; restricted/registered profiles and high-security cylinders cost more. 18% GST is shown separately.

Keep a written key register at handover (who holds which key), and never label keys with the door/address. This is a planning aid, not a substitute for a qualified locksmith or security consultant.
