Door Handover Pack Generator

Door Handover Pack Generator

Enter your door count, whether you have fire doors or smart locks, and your warranty and DLP months — and get a ready handover checklist: O&M manual, warranties register, keys register, care instructions, defect-liability terms and fire-door certificates. Indicative India 2026 guidance.

Your project

The pack adapts to your inputs: fire-door certificate and smart-lock sections appear only when those counts are above zero. DLP in India is commonly 6–12 months — snags are rectified within it. This is a checklist aid, not a substitute for a qualified fitter or site engineer.

  • Access-control & fail-safe vs fail-secure note (must not block free egress)

Make the handover airtight

DesignAI reviews your pack for gaps — fire-door certificates, free-egress, keys control and DLP terms — so nothing is missed at handover.

Assumptions & notes

  • This generator builds a checklist, not legal documents — adapt the wording to your contract and local practice.
  • DLP (defect liability period) in India is commonly 6–12 months; snag rectification happens within it. Confirm the period and scope in your agreement.
  • Fire doors must be handed over with test certificates for the door set (FD30/FD60), gaps ≤3mm (4mm max) around the leaf, intumescent and smoke seals, 3+ fire-rated hinges, a working self-closer and “Fire door keep shut” signage (NBC / IS 3614), without obstructing free egress.
  • Smart locks must never block free egress; hand over admin credentials and delete installer defaults, and note the mechanical key override.
  • Indicative only — confirm the pack contents and any rectification with your carpenter/fitter on site. Where any rectification or spares are billed, add 18% GST.
