Before you order
- Buy one spare box beyond the calculated quantity — carpet tiles let you swap a stained or worn tile individually, which is their biggest advantage over broadloom.
- Match the dye-lot. Tiles from different production batches can vary subtly in shade; order all boxes (and your spare) in one lot, and note the batch number.
- Add more wastage for diagonal, quarter-turn or ashlar lays and rooms with many cut edges, columns or curves (10–15% rather than 8%).
- Costs are indicative India 2026 and exclude adhesive, tackifier and laying labour.
