The lever sequence

The fixed order in which the four levers are applied — Subtract, then Layer, then Extend, then Storage. Not interchangeable steps but a sequence that compounds: each lever hands the next a better room. Run out of order, the levers fight; run in order, they reinforce.

Subtract → Layer → Extend → Storage

Subtract must come first — layer a cluttered room and you get organised clutter, not space. A studio, with no slack, makes the importance of the sequence visible: clear, multiply, reach, then house.
