Loft (atta)
A raised platform built into the idle volume above head height. The atta — the traditional Indian high loft over a bathroom or passage — is its vernacular form, already trusted in most homes. Modern lofts extend the idea: high storage, a study deck, or a sleeping platform.

The atta has stored India's suitcases and seasonal bedding for generations. The design move is to bring that proven idea out of the bathroom and into the rest of the home, matched to where the height genuinely exists.
