Floor-to-ceiling height

The vertical measurement from floor to ceiling — the third dimension most measuring guides skip and Indian homes live by. It decides whether vertical volume can be claimed: a loft, a taller wardrobe, a mezzanine.

The third dimension

A 3m ceiling has loft potential a 2.6m one doesn't. Measuring floor-to-ceiling (and floor-to-window-top) is what unlocks the entire Extend-upward lever — you can't plan an atta you never measured for.
