What it's made of
  • jali partition screen
  • integrated pooja shelf
  • brass diya ledge
  • glass shutter panel

In open-plan flats where the living and dining areas flow together, this design builds the shrine into a half-height jali partition that gently separates the two zones while housing the pooja shelf. The lattice screen lets light and air pass, and a glass shutter closes over the idols when the family is away. It suits open-layout 2BHK and 3BHK homes that lack a spare wall but want a defined prayer spot. Orient the shelf so the deity faces east on the north-east side of the divide, keep a brass ledge for the daily diya, and the open jali helps incense smoke disperse instead of pooling. You can switch finishes to compare looks before deciding.
