Most apartment families have no spare floor for a temple, so this honey-teak unit hangs on the wall at chest height and keeps the floor clear for mopping and aarti. The carved South Indian frame, brass bells and a scalloped ledge for two diyas give it real temple presence in a 2BHK. Mount it on the north-east Ishan wall so the idol faces east or west, and reserve the hidden drawer below for agarbatti, wicks and matchboxes. Keep a small gap above for incense smoke to clear and never place it inside a bedroom. You can switch finishes to compare looks before deciding.
