Floor whose only job is movement — a corridor or passage that does nothing else. The most reclaimable kind of circulation in a small home; usually absorbed into the rooms it connects.
The removable kind
A 1.2m × 4m corridor is ~3% of a large house but ~10% of a 500 sq ft flat. The smaller the home, the larger the proportional cost of the same dead passage.
